The April 2015 issue of the industry leading magazine Food in Canada highlights the extraordinary achievements of Canadian companies in the food and beverage industry in one of five categories: Growth, Innovation, Stewardship, Community and Industry Leadership, and Health and Wellness.
“…Fiera Foods’ growth performance is clearly exemplary. Its continuous expansion, most recently highlighted by the introduction of more than 250 new products in 2014 alone, shows how Canadian producers can flourish in the vibrant food and beverage world,” says Jim Menzies, the Toronto-based Global Leader, Food & Beverage Industry, Grant Thornton LLP in his opening remark of the April issue of Food in Canada magazine.
The article quotes Carmela Serebryany-Harris, president of Fiera Food’s Alliance Partner and contract manufacturer Upper Crust, who states that Fiera Foods almost doubled the business in the last three years, and the company expects to further double the business in the next three years.
“Receiving Food in Canada’s 2015 Leadership Award is a great pleasure and honor,” says Boris Serebryany, the President and CEO at Fiera Foods. “I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the employees at Fiera Foods for their contributions and commitment. It gives us great pride to be recognized by our peers as the fastest growing food business in Canada and pays a tribute to all people in the company who helped to achieve this remarkable result. With this achievement, we will aim at still greater heights on the path to growth.”
